The platform of the foundation is a town named Bayangam, a rural area of Cameroon; the place where Mr. “Ta Beu” Simo Tagne Joseph was born and raised. Based on oral tradition, Bayangam was born out of three brothers rivalry dating back to the 16th century. Today Bayangam is a village in the West province of Cameroon. The closest major city is Bafoussam.
As of 2013, Bayangam has three public institutions for middle and secondary education: Bayamgam High School, Kassap High School, and Lycee Technique De Bayangam (equivalent of vocational high school).
